SITE LAST UP-DATED: Wednesday 27th April 2011 NEWS: Social Enterprise Seminar Series – 2011 FREE to attend seminar in Dundee - from the 'Aspire to Enterprise' programme:
Strategic Business Planning - If an organisation doesn’t know where it’s going then chances are it will probably end up somewhere else. While organisations that are operationally inefficient are likely to fall by the wayside quickly, those that can ‘deliver’ on a day-to-day basis but are strategically ineffective will still fail – only more slowly. The importance of having people work ‘on the business’ as well as ‘in the business’ should not be under-estimated. This workshop will take participants through each stage of the business planning process from motivation to start up. Based on the highly regarded guide “ A Business Planning Guide to Developing a Social Enterprise” and the combined experience of Forth Sector and CEIS in supporting social enterprise development.
Strategic Business Planning: Wednesday 2nd March, 9:45am to 12:45pm, Scottish Enterprise, 3 Greenmarket, Dundee, DD1 4QB
