Angus SEN

 
The Angus Social Enterprise Network (Angus SEN), is one of 20 social enterprise networks (SEN's) currently operating in Scotland. The networks are organised geographically and thematically. SENSCOT provide support to the networks on a national level.
 
AAVO is the co-ordinating agency for the Angus SEN and Augment (Scotland) Ltd are the network reps.
 
SEN's are independent and self-managing gatherings of social enterprises. The networks provide social enterprises with an opportunity to exchange information, offer mutual support and address issues of common interest.
 
Features of the Angus SEN include:
  • peer support group
  • resource sharing and market development
  • focal point for issues specific to the social enterprise sector
  • collective voice at a locale/regional level
Networks membership is open to
  • existing or emerging social enterprises
  • organisations that have made the decision to become a social enterprise
 The latest Angus Social Enterprise Network Meeting was held on Wednesday 26th January at ACE Building, Augment (Scotland) Ltd, 24a Strathairlie Avenue, Arbroath.

The NEXT Angus SEN meeting is to take place in April 2011, date & location TBC.
